I'm glad you have a doctor you like! Ugh to your mom. That dismissiveness is so painful. And you should not feel bad for keeping yourself (and your family!) safe. Ugghhhhh. I love the term Energy Vampires! I will have to look that book up. I have definitely fallen prey to the vampires and it's good to recognize it and apply the garlic early! 💜Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15868505568965284742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3354761566702250657.post-48192569300760462032020-09-22T13:16:16.417-07:002020-09-22T13:16:16.417-07:00Thank you Mali and Klara. Your mother's comment reminded me of the one I quote from my mother, which compared having an ectopic with waiting to have her healthy baby! Also, I'm sure your mother would think that the worst thing would be if COVID stopped her seeing her children ever, because you died or she did. You're protecting her from that.

Brava for you for a) recognising the Energy Vampire (I love that term), b) feeling sorry for them because you recognised how unhappy they must be, and c) for looking after yourself.

Good luck for the surgery. I'll be thinking of you. (And yay for the negative test result).

Malihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03928262526502319303noreply@blogger.com
